LMP was
approached by Ground
Effects during the early 90's to produce a push bumper
side cover for pickup trucks. This product would be the
first of many tasks that LMP now does for the automotive
industry. They have now expanded to cover all of the big 3's
full size and compact model extras.
This project
would eventually lead to more compression forming projects
such as the foam gaskets and grommets shown in the middle of
the picture on the left. These delicate and crucial parts
needed to be exact in size and shape so not to let water
into the casing of many accessory parts of the trucks. This
was the first project that LMP had that needed to have this
kind of accuracy and again they succeeded.
